

(North Canton, OH – May 10, 2010) - Dr. Adrienne O'Neill, Ed.D., president of the Stark Education Partnership, will address over 700 graduates, their families and friends at Stark State College commencement exercises May 16 at 2 p.m. in the Canton Memorial Civic Center.
O’Neill formerly served as chief education officer for the Canton City Schools and the Timken Regional Campus project. She spearheaded the Early College High School (ECHS) program, a partnership between the Stark Education Partnership, Inc., Canton City Schools and Stark State College that provides first generation, low-income high school students the opportunity to receive associate degrees while completing their high school diplomas. The 2010 ECHS class will be represented at Sunday’s commencement by 31 seniors who will earn associate degrees.
