What Made Students Decide to Take a Dual Credit Class?

In focus groups recently conducted by the Stark Education Partnership, Stark County high school students noted a variety of reasons for taking dual credit courses:

1)  I wanted to graduate with some college credit.

2)  I wanted to polish my writing skills

3)  I was interested in a challenging course.

4)  Dual Credit saves me money.

5)  This was the most appealing course.
6)  Taking this course now lets me have more time to participate in campus activities like athletics.
7)  I have a lot of opportunity for 1:1 time with the instructor that I don't expect on campus.
