College Keys 2011Canton's Early College High School Showcased in National Catalog of Effective Practices

For the second year in a row, a Stark County education effort has been included in a national publication by the College Board's College Keys Compact.

Canton's Early College High School (CECHS) is featured in the 2011 Catalog of Effective Practices: Programs and practices that expand options for students from low-income backgrounds.[1] Last year, Stark County's high school-based dual credit efforts were so recognized.

While best known for the SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) Program, the College Keys Compact is the College Board's national call to identify, share and expand programs that benefit low income students in getting ready, in and through college. CECHS is the only early college high school to have been so recognized by the Compact.
