Ohio's Retention of Public
College and University Graduates Remains Stable

A year after graduation, over three-quarters of Ohio's public college and university graduates are still in state, either working or pursuing additional coursework. That percentage has remained stable for the last five years.

A report issued by the Ohio Board of Regents last month, In-State Retention and Salary Analysis of Spring Graduates, 2007-2011[1] further shows the highest retention rates are in healthcare related degrees. Eighty-seven percent of all associate and 84% of all bachelor's degrees are retained in those fields.
