Washington Post Again Ranks Hoover and Jackson among the Most Challenging High Schools in the Nation

Thirty-six Ohio high schools made the Washington Post's 2014 list of most challenging high schools [1] released on April 4th. Among them were Stark County's Hoover and Jackson's High Schools. Both had also been ranked in 2013.

To arrive at its list, the Washington Post looks at the total number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests given at a school each year and divide by the number of graduating seniors. High schools obtaining at least a 1.00 ratio were included on the list. Nineteen hundred schools across the nation qualified.
