Graduate Programs Growing in Stark

Stark County's graduate programs continue to grow.

Master's Degree Growth Over Past Decade

Data[1] released by the Ohio Board of Regents last month shows the number of master's degrees awarded annually by Malone and Walsh Universities has increased by over 80% during the last decade. Over the same period of time, statewide awards have grown by 26%.

Not counted in the Regents data are students earning master's degrees entirely on the Kent State Stark campus[2], which are included in main campus figures, or new programs in Educational Leadership and Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Mount Union.[3]

In addition to master's degrees, Walsh University also offers Doctor of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees.
