Despite Population Concerns Ohio Keeps Most College Graduates - At Least for a Year

Despite 2010 U.S. Census figures showing slow growth and an aging population that points to an exodus of younger Ohioans[1], the state seems to be keeping most of its college graduates - at least for a year.

A report issued by the Ohio Board of Regents earlier this year, In-State Retention and Salary Analysis of Spring Graduates, 2005 to 2009[2], shows that the percentage of graduates from public colleges and universities staying in the state for at least a year after graduation has remained about the same over a five year period while the actual number of graduates has increased.
