to Canton   

Victoria Shepherd has joined the Early College Academy as the Reading Intervention Specialist. She is an Early College High School alum from the first graduating class in 2009.


Happy Anniversary 

This past July both the Stark County Educational Service Center (SCESC) and the Stark Education Partnership (SEP) saw landmark anniversaries. SCESC turned 100 while SEP reached 25.

Canton's Education Attainment Points to a Promising Economic Future


To see where a region's economy is going in the future, a recent report by the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University - Ranking America's Top Young Adult Labor Forces: A Rust Belt Rising? - suggests analyzing the data by age cohort.[1] 
Canton's youngest age cohort exceeds both the national and Ohio percentage for young adults who have already been to college, or earned a degree.[2]
