Free Online Courses Now Available for High School Students        

Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) are now offering 26 free "massive, open, online courses" (MOOC). High school students can use the courses to prepare for Advanced Placement exams or to expand their academic knowledge in an area of interest. Read more on Education Week.

Welcome Tina Ughrin

 

The Stark Education Partnership is pleased to announce that Tina Ughrin will continue to do research and reporting on current and future programs. "I'm confident that Tina's skills and experience will benefit our work," said Dr. Adrienne O'Neill, President.

 

Tina has over a decade of experience in research, assessment, measurement, and evaluation. She has taught and consulted on survey and focus group development, assessment & measurement, data collection & analysis, and program & curricular evaluation and has worked closely with clients to explore collaborative methods of program evaluation.

 

Tina provided strategic vision, management, and budgetary guidance to Kent State University's research software and support service and served as the Kent State University Libraries Business Information Outreach Manager. More recently, Tina has provided non-profits and agencies with evaluation, data management, and research support on projects ranging from an 360 employee inclusion behavior assessment for a large behavioral health agency to the development of an assessment and evaluation system for a county-wide anti-poverty program.
