Stark State has Surpassed All Other Ohio Public College and Universites in Growth Since 2000

Already one of the fastest growing two year colleges in the nation, Stark State College is also the clear winner in Ohio.

Figures released last month by the Ohio Board of Regents show that Stark State has grown faster than any other state college or university over the last ten years. Headcount Enrollment at University System of Ohio Institutions, Fall 2000 to Fall 2009 also shows the college as the record holder for the largest growth between 2004 to 2009 and the greatest one-year change from 2008 to 2009.

While Stark State's growth surpasses that of single institutions, a comparison with state averages gives an idea of the scope of this achievement.
