A Community Salute for the Stark Education Partnership
"Education is the answer!" - Judge W. Don Reader, Board Chair, the Stark Education Partnership
Dr. Adrienne O'Neill and the Stark Education Partnership (SEP) were recognized for outstanding performance that benefits the community at the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce's Annual Community Salute Awards on Wednesday. Joining Dr. O'Neill on stage to receive the award was SEP Board Chair Judge W. Don Reader.
For over 60 years, the Chamber has been recognizing individuals and organizations that have made a difference in Stark County. In accepting the award, Dr. O'Neill underscored what the award meant to SEP. "It is about partnership," she said. "I want to thank all the people who have partnered with us in the past, who are partnering with us now, and who will partner with us in the future."
Stark State College President John O'Donnell, who nominated Dr. O'Neill and SEP for the award, summed up what this partnership is about. "We will become the most educated county in Ohio," he said. "We will become the most educated county in the nation."
