Younger Ohioans Gaining Ground on Nation in Education Attainment
There is good news for Ohio in the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2008 American Community Survey. While the state still ranks 38th in the nation in the percent of its population with a Bachelor's Degree or higher, younger Ohioans are gaining ground.
A new report by the Ohio Board of Regents[1] confirms that those in the age 25 to 34 category have shown growth in education attainment over year 2000 figures in all categories and increases in national standing for Associate through graduate and professional degrees.
