Stark's College Going Rate Now Exceeds State and National Average for Age 18-24

For the first time in Stark County's history, the percentage of its young adults, age 18 to 24, who have been to college has exceeded both the state and national average.
This finding, based on new three year survey estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau on October 27th, also shows the gap narrowing on the percentage who have already earned a Bachelor's Degree or higher.
Part of the Bureau's American Community Survey[1], the three year estimates differ from the one year estimates in that they employ a larger sample size using data gathered over a full three years. Data was gathered from 2006 through 2008.
