Elizabeth R.B. Grossman, Ph.D.
Director of Research & Evaluation
Liza joined the organization in 2016 and serves as the Director of Research and Evaluation. She plans and implements all phases of educational evaluation and research studies, including study design, sampling, quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and reporting.
In her position, Liza provides design evaluation plans and tools aligned to program characteristics and goals to measure progress toward fidelity of implementation and project outcomes. She works at all levels of education to provide research on best practices and action research. Liza previously worked as a consultant and adjunct professor at several colleges and universities including The University of Akron, Kent State University, Walsh University, Stark State College, and the College of Wooster. She is an avid supporter of all students’ finding their pathway(s) to success and becoming life-long learners.
Liza earned her doctorate from the University of Akron in Sociology with a focus on social inequality and social capital. She is also a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a master’s in Sociology and a bachelor’s in Public Relations. Liza is a co-leader for Girl Scout Troop 61094 and graduated in the 32nd Class of Leadership Stark Count
