Angie joined the SEP team in 2026 as a Career Champion. In this role, she works to increase students’ awareness of high-demand career opportunities throughout the local community. She helps connect education with the needs of area employers while developing strong partnerships that create meaningful career pathways, work-based learning experiences, and opportunities for students to explore their future careers. Angie helps students discover opportunities that align with their interest and skills while encouraging them to consider the many career possibilities available right here in Stark County. 

Angie earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Akron. She has a background which includes 10 years of experience in a variety of roles in education, and she also spent time at home raising her four children. These roles have given her a well-rounded perspective on students, families, educators and the community. She is excited to help students recognize their strengths and connect their education to meaningful opportunities for their future.
