Katy Yoder

Career Champion

Katy joined the Partnership in 2025 as a Career Champion. In this role, she collaborates with students to cultivate career readiness and employability skills that align with their unique interests and aptitudes. Through career-connected learning opportunities, she provides mentorship and guidance to prepare students for long-term success. Katy’s work directly supports SEP’s Career Pathway Initiative, which is designed to empower students and strengthen the local workforce by assisting Stark County school districts in developing comprehensive, career-connected, learning programs. She is dedicated to ensuring that all students are equipped to realize their full potential and pursue career pathways that are both fulfilling and impactful.


Katy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle and High School Education from the University of Mount Union and went on to complete a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Human Development at Walsh University. She has served as both an educator and counselor for more than 20 years across a variety of settings. Throughout her career, Katy has remained deeply committed to helping and advocating for every student, with a passion for ensuring that each has the support and opportunities needed to succeed.
