Krista L. Allison, J.D.
Program Support Strategist
Krista joined SEP in 2017 as an Early Childhood Consultant and later transitioned to a role as the Program Support Strategist. She supports and challenges the education community to continually accelerate learning and advance our education system to proactively meet the diverse needs of our students, families, and community. Her role is critical in preparing students for career readiness.
Prior to joining SEP, Krista advised public officials on education regulations and served in leadership roles at the state (Executive Director, Ohio Department of Education), county (Director, Stark County Educational Service Center), and school district (Director, Canton City School District). In these roles, she created and implemented strategic policies, programs, and systems to address equity and the academic and non-academic needs of students. Krista continues to facilitate training and coaching to education leaders, businesses, and community organizations, as well as being a public speaker and actively serving in the community.
Krista holds a Bachelor of Arts from Baldwin-Wallace University and a Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University. She is an Institute for Educational Leadership Policy Fellow, Ohio Early Childhood Leadership Fellow, and a member of Leadership Stark County’s 35th Class Signature Program.
